Passion HD Review 7.86

Of the many different babes who feature on the site, Holly Michaels is the one who has shot the most scenes at 46. The models with over 10 scenes to their name are Alexis Adams, Dillion Harper, Lily Love, Chloe Amour, Ariana Marie, Keisha Grey, Anissa Kate, Madison Ivy, Natalia Starr, Brooke Wylde, Dakota Skye and Nina North. So that's great news if you are fans of any of those. I happen to love every single one of them!

You will also find scenes from the popular Octavia Red, Gia Derza, Kyler Quinn, Haley Spades, Blake Blossom and Kylie Rocket.

Several ways to filter scenes

In the navigation bar along the top of the site, there is a page called 'categories' which consists of the broad terms used to classify pretty much all the different types of material available on Passion HD; and clicking onto one of them presents you with all the scenes which match that group. The categories are: Anal, Asian, Ass, BDSM, Big Cock, Big Tits, Black, Blondes, Blowjob, Brunettes, Creampie, Deepthroat, Facial, Hardcore, Interracial, Latina, Massage, MILF, Orgy, Petite, Solo, Squirt, Teen, Threesome, Toys and Voyeur.

However, just because one of these categories exists, it does not necessarily mean they are bursting at the seams with corresponding content. For example, there are only three 'MILF' scenes and two 'Black' scenes. Furthermore, the three MILFs are Aaliyah Love, Charley Chase and Lisa Ann. In the case of Aaliyah Love, the scene actually originated on New Sensations, and Charley Chase was 28 when the scene was released and therefore not even a MILF! Maybe they are getting her confused with Charlee Chase who was born 10 years earlier? Anyway, if it's MILFs you're after, you might want to check out Passion HD's other sites like Pure Mature or Mom4K.

There are no lesbian scenes, with the offering consisting mostly of boy-girl and a few boy-girl-girl's. Some of the BGG shoots are the closest you get to see any form of lesbian action.

Scenes can be sorted by their release date (this is the default setting), the most popular scenes, the most viewed or by the scene title. The exact same sort of options are available on the 'girls' page.

Updated once a week

On the 'scenes' page, you are given a text box to type in your search terms but on the 'girls' page (the model directory), you are restricted to a drop-down menu in alphabetical order or choosing a letter of the alphabet. A search box is lacking here, and I'm not sure why they haven't implemented one. As a desktop PC user, it would come in handy if I could type in a letter on my keyboard when I have the drop-down menu selected to go straight to where I want to go to, but you can't even do that. Not a major issue but nevertheless something which is made that little bit more difficult unnecessarily. It can take more time than it needs to find who you are looking for, particularly if there are a lot of models with the starting letter of the person you are after. This is compounded by the fact that you cannot simply use the search box on the scenes page because it doesn't return results for scenes with the babe you have typed in; it only searches for video titles that match what you have entered.

A brand new scene is released once a week which may disappoint some people, but the scenes are high in quality. For some reason, the site doesn't disclose the release dates for most of the older scenes - but I'd assume this is slightly less than they used to produce. Indeed, the spiel on the homepage of the site states that there are 3-5 updates per week, which may have been true once upon a time but not now. They should really update this. Anyhoo, there are 1,433 different scenes available overall at the time of writing.

On each video, you can simply give it a like or select from a series of emojis, many of which I don't even know what they mean! You can also give the scene a rating out of 10. The average rating that the video has received is lit up in the form of a star rating. The video's rating is also displayed in the top-right corner along with a rank number. As far as I can make out, if it's not ranked inside the top 1,000 then it has a rank of 'N/A'.

4k videos and zipped photo sets

When you are looking at a scene, you have links at the bottom that take you to either the trailer, HD video (stream), video screencaps or pictures. The great thing about Passion HD is that as the site was launched in 2012, after HD video technology had become commonplace, it means that the entire catalog is available in excellent video quality even from the earliest scenes from 10 years ago. The full videos can be downloaded in several different formats; from 480p to 1080p and up to 4K for all the releases in more recent years. You can download the picture set in the form of a ZIP file, and the same goes for the screencaps. You can either just view them on the site or physically download them as well. The image galleries typically consist of 250 photos at a resolution of 1500 x 1000. This is a standard size, and you don't get a choice of lo or hi res etc. Screencaps aren't really my thing, particularly if I already have the video, but the screencaps do however provide a quick snapshot of the scene without viewing the whole video as it consists of a series of screenshots taken from the actual video footage itself, so you are able to get the general idea of how the scene looks even without watching it. Another useful feature that helps you to quickly judge whether a scene will be of interest to you or not is to hover your cursor over the thumbnail in question to view a short, edited together animated clip that lasts a few seconds and provides a snapshot of the scene as a whole. It is easy to tell which scenes did not originate from Passion HD, as these are the ones that don't feature such an animated thumbnail when you hover over them. For example, they have been borrowing a lot of scenes from New Sensations lately and none of these have one. They are just static thumbnail images.

You are also able to leave comments on the video/scene and can submit up to 500 characters of your own remarks. You can also see what other people have had to say and give them an upvote or a downvote if you so wish.

A few minor issues

Onto the bugbears, of which I have a few. They mainly concern the site's navigation and the limitations of their search tool.

I think the navigation could be that little bit easier when it comes to the model directory. I went into this in detail earlier but being able to do a typed search would be a big help here. What's more, on the one page that you can do a keyword search on, the scenes page; it won't let you hit the return key on your keyboard to submit the search. You must physically click the search button. This is basic stuff. Also, if you are on page 2 or more of the search results and you then submit a new search... it will return zero search results unless the term you have just entered just so happens to have the same number of search results. Many people won't realize this and will think that there are no search results for what they have entered whatsoever, when in fact there are - it has just been coded in a sub-standard fashion. You may not even understand what I'm talking about in my attempts to explain it here, but as a web developer myself; I can tell you that this is a really poor bit of programming which lacks any kind of care or attention.

At the time of writing, there is also a really weird thing going on in the girls directory pages. The most recent scenes appear on the list twice, as it is listed once under the female performer's name, and once again under the male performer's name. In other words, the males appear among the females when they shouldn't be. I'd imagine that before long they will fix this, but the fact it has been lingering like this for so long already is really bad. Do none of their employees actually check the site to notice these things? This is not an issue isolated to the Passion HD site, but all of the sites which are under the Porn Pros umbrella. You do not have to be a registered user to see the model directory on the other sites such as Tiny 4K, and you can see that the exact same issue exists there! Weird. I have raised this issue with them (not that I should have to because it is so glaringly obvious) but there's no fix as yet.

One final gripe on the girls index is that Maci Winslett is on there as both that (correct spelling) and Macie Winslett... as if they are two different people. You could therefore miss that she has another scene on the site because it is under the wrong name. This is another example of carelessness.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to contact the guys who run Passion HD other than to leave comments on videos, and on the evidence of what I have seen; they don't seem to take any notice of what is said. e.g. I noticed that one of the videos I downloaded was in a different resolution to the one stated, and I proceeded to see that someone had reported this in the comments 6 years ago. The problem still exists today.
